What is “Improvement Science” Anyway?

admin
March 18, 2019

FrameShift Group uses improvement science to assist organizations throughout their process of dissecting and solving local and system-level problems. We start by helping clients verbalize a common vision and identify measurable goals. From there, we define the current situation or business climate, providing clients an unbiased review of ways to influence progress. Clients are then prepared to prioritize interventions they can try to improve their systems. FSG uses a structured approach (such as Plan-Do-Study-Act) to determine how and whether those interventions achieve desired results. We help clients restructure existing tasks so that they integrate testing – and document what they learn through testing – into their day-to-day business. We help organizations ensure knowledge gained is spread throughout the system. Once completed, the organization decides upon a process for monitoring the desired performance measures over time.
